The "Emaar" Initiative, which translates to "Rebuilding" in English, was launched by the Salamander Association in response to the Al Haouz earthquake. Its primary objective was to provide medium and long-term assistance to affected families, aiding their rehabilitation and supporting activities aimed at rebuilding their lives and livelihoods.

After numerous field visits to assess the situations, we identified two cases:

• Case 1: A widow and mother of three children who lost her husband due to the earthquake. Their daily livelihood source, a grocery store, was completely destroyed. We will construct and equip a new grocery store where the eldest son, aged 20, will work and support his mother and siblings.
• Case 2: A blind man and head of a household whose home suffered significant damage during the earthquake. We repaired his house and built an additional room. Additionally, we will fund a small project for him to work on and support his family.
